How would you describe a typical day?

Our day typically starts off with breakfast unless we have risen early to shoot the sunrise light (optional). When we shoot sunrise we return to home base for breakfast. We always try to avail ourselves of the best light at the beginning and end of the day. After a couple of hours shooting we try and find a place to stop for a rest and a coffee and failing such amenities we will set up the stove and brew for all.
During the day, the opportunities for great images in open shade are endless. This is by far the best light to photograph the nude. Everything is light dependent and we will teach you by example and observation how best to identify the light when it’s not always obvious. We can show you how to increase contrast for your shots through development and use of the Zone system and pre-visualisation.

Partaking in the local events of a particular culture, where possible, is always a highlight of any tour. We are always on the look out for local artisans, festivals, markets, fairs, dances and street performances. After a long day, we have time to rest and freshen up. Dinner is typically a group affair at a local restaurant, at our lodgings, or on the boat . We often discuss what we learned, tried and experienced throughout the day. We believe in having a lot of fun and a good night's sleep but you are welcome to avail yourself of the local nightlife.
